We regularly service all the major airports, and can advise flight schedules, especially in the case of airport delays due to weather or operational problems. Our Control Room is constantly monitoring the status of flights to ensure that we get you to the airport in good time for your flight.

Our driver will be there to meet your arrival and will be displaying a visible board with “A1 CARS” and YOUR NAME clearly visible as you exit the luggage collection area. He will take care of your luggage, load your suitcases into the car, and deliver you safely to your front door.

For security & MONITORING PURPOSES, we automatically record all incoming and outgoing telephone calls, so that bookings made can be checked in the case of disputes.

This ensures that accuracy is maintained at all times and is a valuable asset to the successful operation of our business.

We would like to inform our customers that we are open for business and running a normal a service.  Given the current situation with Coronavirus, we have put some information together which we hope you will find reassuring or helpful:

• Customers are being asked whether they are well and if they are showing any COVID-19 symptoms. Please advise us if you are.

• We are limiting the number of customers we are carrying at a time in certain vehicles. Customers are required to sit in the back of the car and to keep their distance when speaking to the driver. It is now a legal requirement that you wear a face covering when in the vehicle. The operator will ask you how many passengers are travelling as some drivers will now take four passengers.

• Some of our vehicles are now fitted with protective screens between the driver and the rear passenger seating area. If you would like this kind of vehicle, please request at time of booking.

• Drivers are wiping down surfaces after each customer journey and may be wearing a mask.

• Please do not come to the office. We have measures in place at the office to protect our staff but we would ask in the current circumstances you either book through our website, give us a call or use our App to book your taxi (details of our App can be found here https://a1cars.co.uk/download-our-booking-app/)

• We would like to help our customers as much as possible in these difficult times. If you have any prescriptions, click and collect or anything else we can collect and/or deliver for you then please give the office a call.  Items must be paid for in advance as our drivers will not be able to make payments on your behalf. Upon arrival we would ask that you do not come to the door, we will knock or ring and leave the item on your doorstep and wait at a safe distance to ensure we see you have received the items ok before leaving. Likewise if we are delivering an item for you, we will knock/ring to let you know we have arrived and move away while you place the item outside for us to collect.

• We are providing a PRIORITY SERVICE FOR HEALTH WORKERS, please let us know when you book.
